Thompson Rivers University hosted the 2011 XCountry Running National Championships on the 11th and 12th of November. The event saw 230 athletes from across Canada competing for top honours in their fields. These athletes have incredible endurance, and some of the finishes were so close as to be almost ‘photo-finish’.
It is rare that I have the opportunity to photograph such dear friends as Ramsey and Taqueesha Lightfoot. And it is rarer still that I am in the studio. These two left their maternity photos to just about the last minute, with Taqueesha and Ramsey expecting their little girl sometime within the next week. Taqueesha being an amazing photographer, there was a lot of pressure on this one. Congratulations Ramsey and Taqueesha. I cannot think of two people that would make more amazing parents.
However, I still think, regardless that your baby is a girl, that Andrew is probably the best choice for a name. Or Andrea, that would be acceptable as well!

Mike’s Mustang was unmistakable as it rolled up to our photo locations. The roar of that engine shook your bones. These are sample images from the first half of Mikes car images. We will be taking her out on a drive towards Squamish in a few weeks for some landscape photos.

It has been over a year since I last walked onto a rally stage. And I admit, it felt just like coming home.
Rally is where my photography began, and getting back to my roots, even for a day, was amazing. Despite variable weather conditions from rain to dust clouds in under two hours, it was a fantastic day. Here are a few sneak peak images from the stages I shot. Great to see all the rally folks again!

A wonderful lakeside wedding with fantastic weather in Chase, BC. Curtis and Lilly traveled from Calgary and Tacoma respectively to be together on their special day. Congratulations Curtis and Lilly!
