Hagerty Spring Thaw Classic Car Adventure 2012 – Day 3

At dawn I found myself idly sipping a coffee and meandering my way down the 5a connector to Princeton. The plan, as today was only a half day of Thaw action, was to shoot the cars a few times on the Old Hedley road leading into Princton, then leapfrog ahead to the finish in Hope and enjoy another tasty coffee from the Blue Moose. I am starting to realize that I may have a coffee problem. Apart from a remarkably close, and surprising encounter with a black bear on one of my photo corners, the day went very smoothly, and I managed to grab a few photos of the participants on their final leg towards Hope. Enjoy the sneak peak gallery!

A special thanks to all the volunteers, sponsors, Warwick and Dave, and all the participants for making this Spring Thaw another fantastic event! Look forward to seeing you all out again next year!

A great adventure!
Malcolm & Geraldine – car # 7

David Ellis - Hey Dave and Warwick,
Just a short note to thank you both for putting on one helluva show last weekend. Son Toby and I had 3 great days of driving on those wonderful roads that you sourced, and my wee Lotus did its part by never missing a beat. Sunny and spectacular, a great adventure.
Cheers and thanks,
David & Toby Ellis – Car #6
