Brianna and Reece | Engaged

With a relationship that writes like a fairytale, Brianna and Reece are two of the most genuinely kind hearted people I have ever met in my life. Even though Reece has hatched a plot to destroy me at tennis, I still like the guy. Jokes on him however, when he finds out I only moonlight as a photographer in lieu of my professional tennis career.
However, with only 8 weeks until we celebrate their wedding in Kamloops, Brianna and Reece decided to step in front of the camera for a few quick snaps. We still aren’t sure if it was more of a test run for them, or for me, but either way, it was a beautiful evening in Kamloops, and these two gigglers created some wonderful moments together. What a pleasure to be asked to capture their big day. Congratulations Brianna and Reece. See you soon!

Nightingale Armor | Beebichu Cosplay.

Today we were out for another session with Beebichu cosplay. Modified the costume slightly, with a slightly different theme. We thought to brighten up the Nightingale character with some twilight images.

Be sure to check out Beebichu cosplay on Facebook and Deviantart!

Nightingale Armor | Skyrim Cosplay.

When Amanda Eccleston of Beebichu Cosplay (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Beebichu-Cosplay/302508579785167?fref=ts) approached me to capture some images of her latest costume, I admit I was a bit confused as to what Cosplay was. However, after seeing the costume, and creating some winter forest photos for Amanda, I was hooked.  It was an absolute pleasure to shoot.

Enjoy a few sneak peak images from our first adventure!

Caroline and Matthias | Poet’s Cove | Married

I can see why the resort is called Poet’s Cove. With inspiring views at every turn, the resort, marina, and forest seemed like a place out of time, one that I can imagine as the source of many lines of prose. It felt like a throwback to a simpler life, rooted in the dark soil, with the tides bringing news and visitors from distant horizons. People traveled from all over the globe to witness Matthias and Caroline say their “I Do’s” beside a calm ocean, with a gentle breeze and cool weather to greet them. I suppose for sailors, gentle breezes and calm oceans are not always welcome, but on this day, it was a stunning backdrop for a ceremony and reception that was filled with laughter from Caroline, and a subtle but joy-filled smile from Matthias.

.

Chris and Andrew of ASPhotography would like to propose a toast to the newly wedded couple, one we feel is appropriate.

.

“”To the ship that goes, the wind that blows and the lass who loves a sailor””

.

Best Wishes you two. Thank you for letting us be a part of your magical day.
