What an appropriate quote for this couple. I have rarely witnessed a smile, that once presented, become so instantly and infectiously mirrored on her partners face that it was as if it had always been there, not hidden per say, just kept especially for her. I realized then that it had been, and that the joy in Clays eyes was a constant thing. I felt almost as if I were intruding on something magical, these moments the two of them shared on the Spanish Banks in Vancouver, BC, and I found myself shaking my head in wonder. What an incredible love to see, and what an honour to have been asked to be part of their wedding. Thank you, Alizee and Clay. Enjoy a little teaser of their engagement photos!

Brianna and Reece | Engaged

With a relationship that writes like a fairytale, Brianna and Reece are two of the most genuinely kind hearted people I have ever met in my life. Even though Reece has hatched a plot to destroy me at tennis, I still like the guy. Jokes on him however, when he finds out I only moonlight as a photographer in lieu of my professional tennis career.
However, with only 8 weeks until we celebrate their wedding in Kamloops, Brianna and Reece decided to step in front of the camera for a few quick snaps. We still aren’t sure if it was more of a test run for them, or for me, but either way, it was a beautiful evening in Kamloops, and these two gigglers created some wonderful moments together. What a pleasure to be asked to capture their big day. Congratulations Brianna and Reece. See you soon!

We met on a rainy day in Stanley Park. Drew and Nicole are getting married in Kamloops in June, but we wanted to do their engagement photos on the coast. This couple and I have known each other for a long time, and I am so excited to be a part of their wedding. I have known Greg since I was probably a foot tall. We were virtually inseparable growing up. And now, as is often the case in these things, he has been stolen away by a fantastic lady. Greg and Aimee are getting married in Lillooet, BC in August 2012, and we went to the Quilchena Hotel by Merritt BC to snap a few photos of the engaged couple. What a beautiful old building! Very excited to be a part of their special day.

It had been many years since seeing Amanda, and it was a great pleasure to meet her fiancee Wesley, a Drama teacher from Thompson Rivers University. We wandered around the gardens of St. Andrews church in Kamloops and captured some moments for this wonderful couple.

This engagement session is not your traditional engagement session for this unique couple. More of a photojournalistic style than a stand-up posed photo session. Hope you like it!

I suppose theres just something a little ‘too’ cliche about the cowboy riding into the sunset; but tonight it happened. It was an absolute pleasure to take Danny and Ashley’s engagement photos. These two, along with their beautiful daughter Addy, brought their own sunlight with them on a day that started out looking pretty miserable. I had even called Ashley earlier in the day to ask if she wanted to potentially reschedule due to weather. Boy am I glad we didn’t.
